Served with my capsicum smoked salmon
Originally the recipe was for half a tin - i had to change it to a full tin. It's an impractical serving size if it is eaten before it makes it out of the blender!
You will need:
1 tin WHITE beans (or 400g home cooked)
1/8t lemon juice (too much and it tastes like puke!)
1/2t scant miso
3-6TB Nutritional Yeast, depending on how cheesy you want it
a few shakes of onion powder
4-5t olive brine (omit if watching sodium levels, or use 3 soaked de-brined olives)
1-2t tomato vinegar (the vinegar in 97% fat free sun dried tomatoes) or omit
1t liquid smoke or 1 TB smokey BBQ sauce, or omit.
2 tb - 4, of soy milk, enough to blend, pref unsweetened
Method:
Chuck it all in a blender. Blend. Use as a spread or a dip. Delicious! (And super healthy, other than the sodium content!)
