Savoury BOMB Cheese or Tuna Salad Spread for jaffles

 perfect in jaffles!



In a blender add: (approx)
1 TB soy milk, or other dairy free milk
1/4c saurkraut - for tang (red for "tuna)
1TB sweet baby rays BBQ Hickory sauce or BBQ/ketchup/tomato paste but then add 1/4t liquid smoke....A brown sauce makes a more convincing colour for both
1/4c cashews/almond meal
1/4t mixed herbs with chilli in it already, or add more if you like
1TB nutritional yeast
1/8t of celery (for Tuna) or truffle salt/miso (for cheese) or omit altogether
1/4t onion flakes (optional)
1t fresh chopped parsely to top (optional)
for tuna u can add a pinch of flaked dulse/wakame/kombu powder/nori powder too and 1 omega 3 capsule

1t konjac/glucomannan powder (thickens in 20 minutes without heat and adds fibre! Can use acai fibre too)

BLEND.

Store in a tiny ramekin (there will be 2 TB extra to have a serve right away :) )


Taste:
9/10. Cheesy, but something else - and only pleasant! Flavour BOMB!

Texture:
Once set in the fridge (heating will get a richer flavour) it has a stringy consistency like a tuna salad, which is why this is 2 recipes in one.

This is a lovely creamy savoury spread!
