Chicken Tofu that looks and feels just like real Chicken!!!! Gluten free sietan chicken!



This recipe is so easy it really doesn't even require a real recipe, just a few steps. And I bet you would food a meat eaters eye, and even taste buds if your sauce is on point! Think.....shish kebabs and on the grill- it would be indistinguishable! They are quite tender so i am not sure how they would hold up in a shish kebab,...but i want to try that out next! 


1- Buy this tofu (it's in the pantry isles). 


2- Freeze it. So up to this point, pretty easy right? 
3- It's now hte next day. Cut it out of the box and pop it in a pan of water and boil it until it thaws (around 5-10 minutes?). 
4- Strain the tofu. You will have noticed it has these were flakey layers going on. This is good! This is the texture! 
5- Add your "sauce" to the pan (whatever you like). This will marinate and flavour the tofu. For best results cut the tofu into bite sized pieces-----AND because it is so tender you can do so right in the pan with a spatula right in the pan!
6- Cook in the sauce for about 10 minutes to "marinate". 
7- Put any uneaten portions in the fridge as leftovers. These will be even more flavourful the next day as they marinate in the sauce over night!
